Seaweed, with ragged-edged blades.

wakame-mimasa

Wakame seaweed provides vitamins A, B1, B2 and C. It is especially rich in potassium, sodium, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium. With 100 g of wakame we complete 36% of the recommended daily dose (RDD) of sodium. Its high content in water helps in the hydration of the organism and to replace mineral salts lost during the day or with physical exercise.

The waters of northern Europe where it is collected have many streams and, consequently, are very clean. For this reason they have been awarded the ecological certificate.

It is a very useful in natural food for people with high blood pressure, because it contains a rich amount of algenic acid that helps eliminate sodium from the body, and other heavy metals and toxic elements.

Due to its high iodine levels, it is not advisable in thyroid diseases.

It favors cellular regeneration, something highly recommended during pregnancy and in athletes. It is rich in iron, which is very suitable for people with iron deficiency anemia or for women during menstruation. It stimulates the immune system, and has a slight satiating effect.
