Oligen sugar control is a food supplement with properties that help regulate blood glucose levels.

Components of Oligen Sugar Control

• DHA 80% TG, with more than 90% total Omega‑3 fatty acids. According to EFSA reports, the intake of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), either alone or combined with EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), contributes to maintaining normal blood triglyceride levels.

  The intake of both long‑chain omega‑3 fatty acids (a minimum combined 250 mg of DHA and EPA) contributes to normal heart function and helps maintain normal blood pressure. In adults, DHA (a daily intake of 250 mg/day) also supports the normal maintenance of vision and brain function.

• Standardized Shilajit fruit extract and 40 μg of chromium (100% NRV), which contributes to maintaining normal blood glucose levels and the normal metabolism of macronutrients.

• Cinnamon bark extract 50 mg (Cinnamomum cassia): numerous studies indicate that cinnamon (cinnamon bark), at around 0.5 g/day, helps regulate blood glucose levels.

The polyphenols from the fruit of Emblica officinalis are excellent antioxidant ligands that keep chromium in its safe and effective trivalent state, preventing its conversion into the toxic hexavalent form.

The fulvic acids in Shilajit act as efficient carrier molecules and help transport chromium chloride to the relevant insulin receptor site, thereby increasing its bioavailability. Several studies have shown that Shilajit is synergistic with glipizide and metformin in reducing fasting blood glucose levels, postprandial blood glucose levels, HbA1c, hsCRP, and urinary microalbumin levels in individuals with type 2 diabetes.
